This one-of-a-kind camp provides an exceptional opportunity for swimmers of all levels—whether you’re just starting out or already advanced—to receive personalized coaching focused on enhancing your technique, boosting your speed, and building endurance.
This is the only Faster Freestyle Swim Camp we offer that you can potentially drive to, making it a convenient and accessible option for swimmers and triathletes who want an immersive training experience without traveling too far.

Swim in a variety of beautiful settings, including pools, serene ponds, and the scenic White Horse Beach in Manomet, MA. Train alongside fellow swim enthusiasts during warm late-summer days, enjoying open-water sessions without the typical Labor Day crowds.
By the end of this camp, you’ll have enjoyed swimming in beautiful settings alongside like-minded people and will leave with a faster, more efficient freestyle. Each session helps you fine-tune your technique so open-water swimming feels smoother, more effortless, and truly enjoyable.
Your host and coach is Hall of Fame swimmer Karlyn Pipes. While her accomplishments in the pool are legendary, Karlyn truly gets a kick out of helping swimmers of all abilities swim faster with less effort. She loves sharing practical, easy-to-apply techniques that immediately make a difference—turning hard work into smart, effortless swimming that’s both fun and rewarding.
This four-day camp concludes with a farewell dinner on Saturday, August 29th at 8:00 PM, giving you a chance to celebrate your progress, connect with fellow swimmers, and reflect on a week of growth and fun.

Camp Highlights & What’s Included:
Three beautiful open-water swims ranging from 2k to 4k in local kettle ponds and at the stunning White Horse Beach near Plymouth.
Video analysis of your stroke during the Faster Freestyle swim clinic held at a local pool on Day One.
Daily swim clinics covering freestyle, open-water skills and drills, fly, back, breast, and more.
One-on-one private lesson with Karlyn’s expert video analysis and feedback (time and location TBD).
Meals included: Brunch or lunch served after every swim, plus a farewell dinner to celebrate your week.
Camp filming: Staff will capture your open-water swims to provide video of your progress and document our aquatic adventures—videos will be texted to you.
Exclusive gear: Custom BOCO visor, long-sleeve dry-tech tee shirt, and a silicone swim cap.
A keepsake memoir: An autographed copy of Karlyn’s book The Do-Over: My Journey from the Depths of Addiction to World Champion Swimmer.

Day one: starts at 12 pm on WEDNESDAY
12:00-3:00 PM Faster Freestyle Swim Clinic with before/after video analysis of your stroke at Percy Walker Pool in Duxbury, MA
Day two: Thursday
8:30 AM-1:00 meeting at Little Pond, Morton Park, MA
Swim Clinic: Faster Freestyle (review) and intro to “slap-happy backstroke.”
2k-3k pond swim (water should be high 70’s)
1-hour break for brunch
2-mile hike around the pond
Afternoon off to relax
Casual dinner out (no host)
Day three: Friday
8:30 AM -1:00 PM meeting at White Horse Beach Manomet
Swim Clinic: Open water skills and drills
2-3k Ocean swim with a wetsuit. The water will be 65-67 degrees
Brunch after swim
Private lesson time and location TBD
Evening off
Day four: Saturday
8:30 AM 1:00 PM meet at College Pond, Miles Standish State Forest
Swim Clinic: Review all the strokes!
